Best used in gardens and raised beds. Pinch the top off the plant in early August to encourage sprout development.

To keep this vegetable looking and tasting its best, here are a few guidelines for care:
Produces small, 1" sprouts
Water regularly (allow the top couple inches of soil to dry out between waterings)
Fertilize once every 2 weeks (easiest to do with a water soluble fertilizer in a watering can)
This variety boasts a less woody stem, allowing for whole stem harvest

Harvest brussels sprouts after a light frost (this will improve their taste). 

Common pests to watch for include cabbage worm, flea beetles and aphids.
