Great in containers. Mint spreads rapidly through rhizomes, so would recommend only planting in a pot.

To keep your mint looking and tasting its best, here are some guidelines for care:
Water regularly (allow the top couple inches of soil to dry between waterings)
Fertilize once a month (easiest with a water soluble fertilizer or a slow-release granular fertilizer)
Deer resistant.
