To keep this dahlia looking its best, here are a few guidelines for care:
Water regularly (allow the top couple inches of soil to dry out before watering again)
Water earlier in the morning if you can. Dahlia's can be susceptible to powdery mildew (which thrives in hot and damp situations)
Fertilize every 2 weeks (easiest if you just add a water soluble fertilizer to your watering can once every other week)
Pinch off the dead flowers to keep it blooming throughout the summer

With proper care, this dahlia should bloom all summer
