This tropical's braided trunk is created when the plant is young. Also known as 'Money Tree', it is often associated with good luck and prosperity.

To keep this tropical looking its best all season, here are some guidelines for care:
Water regularly. Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Avoid soggy soil.
Fertilize once a month during the spring and summer with a water soluble All Purpose fertilizer.
Prune to control size or encourage fuller growth. Trim leggy stems back just above a leaf node.
