Heartleaf philodendrons are naturally climbing plants, so when you give them support instead of letting them trail, they often produce stronger growth and can develop larger leaves over time.

To keep this philodendron looking its best all season, here are some guidelines for care:
Water regularly. Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Avoid soggy soil.
Fertilize once a month during active growth with a water soluble All Purpose fertilizer.
Trim vines just above a leaf node when they get too long or sparse. This encourages branching and a bushier plant.
