Celery is great in gardens, raised beds and containers. Can be used as a thriller in mixed containers.

To keep this vegetable looking and tasting its best, here are a few guidelines for care:
Produces tender, smooth stalks
Sweet + not stringy
Water regularly (allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again)
Fertilize every 2 weeks (easiest to do with a water soluble fertilizer in a watering can)
Mounding/hilling the stalks will help to keep them a creamier colour

Celery is great for eating raw, in soups and stews. 

Pests to watch for include aphids, slugs, cutworms.
