Water deeply 1-2x per week. Roses prefer consistent moisture but not soggy soil.
Fertilize every 3-4 weeks (easiest with a water soluble fertilizer)
Long blooming
Attracts pollinators
Deadheading encourages repeat blooms
David Austin roses are not hardy, but can over winter with particular care. Here are some tips increase your success with overwintering:
Stop fertilizing by early August
After a hard frost, mound 8-10" of mulch around the base of the plant
In exposed sites, add straw or leaves for added insulation
Remove protection gradually in spring
Consider planting near a south-facing wall or a sheltered garden for improved winter survival
