This amaranth can be great in large containers and the landscape. It's also great as a cut flower. If used in a container, it would work well as a thriller. This amaranth has burgundy coloured flowers.

To keep this amaranth looking its best, here are a few guidelines for care:
Heat tolerant
Can be used fresh or dried
Water regularly (allow the top couple inches of soil to dry out before watering again)
Fertilize every 2 weeks (easiest done with water soluble fertilizer in a watering can)
